Hello! My name is Colleen Keller Breuning, and I am the creator, owner and editor of Blue Turtle Crossing website.
Welcome to Blue Turtle Crossing
Blue Turtle Crossing is an E-Zine for poetry, photography and creative writing that was initially launched in 2007, during the days of Myspace poetry. Semi-annual editions of the e-zine were launched on the website, which I had coded entirely from scratch html code. A host of poets and photographers were featured in each issue, with an entire page devoted to them. It was a massive undertaking to launch each issue using this method – a labor of love, for sure.
After getting busy with life and career, the site has been largely untouched for quite a few years. With the improvement of blogging sites, I decided to bring the e-zine back using templates and my basic knowledge of the WordPress blogging site. I don’t want to put a lot of pressure on myself since I still work full-time and lead a busy life, but my goal is to update the site when I can with new material featuring poets, photographers and creative artists own works. So bear with me as I launch a completely new Blue Turtle Crossing website. Stay tuned! 🙂
